....I'm looking for a gps app that I can mark and save several wavepoints/locations. I'll be using this app primarily for marking fishing/hunting spots. Which one would be best for this type of application??

It's not out yet, but Pathaway has a great GPS app that does exactly what your looking for.  You download map tiles and calibrate them which can be a challenge, but once you learn to use the map manager you can make maps out of anything you want...scan a hardcopy or download from terra server.  I have all the USGS topo maps for Nevada stored on my old WinMo phone and itchig for the Android version to come out.  Nathan (the developer) has said it is a high priority for him and right now you can proviode input on what features you want.  Do a google on Pathaway and check the support forums.
